Cheow Larn Lake fait partie de Khao Sok National Park. C'est un grand lac artificiel qui date de 1987. Des vallées de la forêt tropicale ont été inondées et le lac est maintenant une voie de pénétration vers le coeur de la forêt, qui serait difficile à atteindre autrement. Plusieurs hôtels flottants pour touristes ont été créés. En tant qu'ornithologue, si vous vous sentez prisonnier dans un tel hotel, des canoés sont à votre disposition et vous pouvez aller sur le rivage. Le paysage autour du lac est extraordinaire.

Cheow Larn Lake is a part of Khao Sok National Park. It is a large artificial lake which dates back to 1987. Some valleys of the rain forest were flooded and the lake is now an access way to the heart of the forest which would be hard to reach otherwise. Several floating hotels for tourists have been created. As a bird watcher, if you feel trapped in such an hotel, canoes are at disposal and you can go to the shore. The landscape around the lake is extraordinary.
